“AGNESIANA” Cultural and Charitable Association
The purpose
The purpose of the association is to promote traditional culture through reviving and supporting of local customs among the children and the young, also through promoting equal opportunity in the community by helping those less favored.
Mission:
The association has the following missions:
- Initiating programs and projects to promote conservation of cultural traditions and local historical landmarks
- Organizing presentations and traditional craftsmanship classes with the elderly from the village
- Organizing cultural and sport events on festive occasions
- Promoting and supporting activities to prevent school or family abandonment through “school after school” programs
- Organizing social and recreational activities for the elderly and the youth of the community
- Creating a local information office (season jobs fair, tourist information, cultural and religious events)
